My plans for the future probably is not about working as a blue-collared worker or maybe for my father's business, even though i respect his business and would also like to help him. Even though, he says that the only reason for his business now is that to earn for a living but wouldn't make it in the long run but i truly think that with hard work, time and thoughts of expanding his business would also thrive well.

After poly, probably will go to shatec to take up pastry & baking course as a full-time study and then even proceed further on. I'm still quite lost? about which way to proceed but i believe my interest lies in culinary. Even still, I'll still proceed with DBM, and further on continue.

I love food maybe love them more than earning money itself, even though money is what makes the world go round, but i believe that making good food with a sincere heart to your loved ones is much more priceless yet a fun thing to do.

Well, today just finished my interview with UOBank, it was quite ok, there were 3 ladies who act as invigilators, actually at first it felt like taking O'levels orals all over again, but when i saw them smiling i'd kind of feel relaxed, so i began talking about myself and answering their questions.

Around 5pm plus, our teacher-in-charge for this UOBank batch called and said that i was hired, not sure if i was happy or not, because it has its pros and cons about it.
Cons are actually you have to work during office hours and i've heard that we'll be appointed to work at alexander Rd, near harbourfront. So, ya, it will be like you're already working.
Pros are actually gaining experience and also maybe earning a daily pay of $10, which my poly friends say at least you guys earn money.lols.

Well, will be missing my poly friends as i'll be cope outside of school for the whole of 9weeks at UOBank, doing my TEP.

when to eat mala huo guo with him on wednesday BEFORE exams.=.=. well, nicenice! and cheap also cost $15 per pax. Basic steamboat ingredients, the fish is nice tender and well yummy, he agreeded with me too.

Damm funny thing is i choked on the fish that was just fished out of the mala huo guo soup =.=, choked on it for about 5mins?? Really embarrassed LOL, he forbids me to eat any ingredients from the mala huo guo section. But i took some hotdogs from there hehs.

It's those near "TianTian Huoguo" near between Bugis and Suntec area, there are many mala huoguo shops at there. Real nice, and cheap you can go there try :)

A plus at the mala huoguo shop we ate that day, is that they serve damm huge "Watermelons"!! I and him a fanatic of watermelons ate quite alot of them. LOL.

At last, projects all that all over. Although feel did not did a good job at it. Many things happen this week but i just forget about it nor. =)
Starting revision also this weekend or next week, don't say hardworking or kiasu! cause exam coming, LOL.

Going to eat mala steamboat with hubby! near Suntec City there, should be nice, there's a lot of people eating everytime i and him walk pass. Lols. Will update if nice!.

It's been since a long time since i've written an entry! lols. Days passed, everything are fine. For our marketing project, it's progressing fairly well after teacher gave us compliments. Soo..all of us quite happy. :) Wanxin don't complain here and there le!LOL!!!..

Going to exams, everyone dreading for this moment, hai..long exam days!! until August 22nd i think. Beginning at August 14th. So must study nor..Stress nor.

Few more weeks going to book chalet :), lols, yep planning for this August. Me and him looking forward loh, to have all the food to ourselves! Although August is exam month already, but going to chalet after exam probably. If got tickets to escape theme park of wildwild wet share with u guys k? Don't nag at me that only have 2 tickets LOLs.

Well, this August also celebrating National Day at Raffles Hotel, mom don't like it because of relative reasons...so...she kept nagging the reasons to me. I'd admit the price for the buffet is really expensive, $80+, i can eat at sushi tei for several times lols, well...my mom also have no choice, my father wants to go..so really complicating!

Was at my grandparent's house today, my aunts and grandparents made a grand buffet spread, with rice vermicelli black pepper crab, chilli tiger prawns, roasted duck, stir-fried vegetables, salad, chocolate foundue, and etc.
I'm dead full with just a plate of food stacked up by my father, who was scared that i didn't ate much.lols. Pictures will be posted when my lappie is serviced!! It crashed today!!:(, monday sending it over to hp service centre, really pekcek.=.=.

Tomorrow starting work at 1030am at IT fair :), have to wake up early, sleepyhead. Hubby also starting work tomorrow, hmm... was quite bothered but decided to let it pass, but at least wanted him to accompany me for the last weeks of his holidays at least. soo...yeah was quite like a naggy wife today.hahs!

Well, today i and him made "breadcrumbs mayonnise prawns", recipe passed from his mom! It's quite easy to make actually:-

Ingredients
1. Prawns (medium-sized prefered)
2. breadcrumbs
3. Mayonnise
4. salt (pinch)
5. pepper (pinch)

Directions

1.Preheat oven first for a few minutes until hot
2.Firstly, take out the shell of the prawns but leave the tail in tact.
3.Put the de-shelled prawns in a bowl.
4. and combined the salt and pepper, and mix.
5.Dip the prawns with the mayonnise but not the tail,
6.then after, make sure the prawns are covered with breadcrumbs.
7.Place neatly on aluminium foil, and then place it in the oven.
8.Bake til breadcrumbs are golden in colour, then take out.

First day at work at Causeway Point, although didn't felt tired but my feet was stepping on lemons around the noon already. Arms are also "suan" due to the carrying of those heavy books! :). As i was relatively interested in those books and stuff, i didn't got bored, LOL, Cindy looked so sian!! :)

The aunties and a person who came also was really cheerful, everyone helped out with one another and sorts. which is good :)

Sorting the books out was a headache, since there were so many books, the books are cheap, there are books costing $2, $5 and higher. Tomorrow, heading down to buy some books, cause today didn't manage to bring much cash with me.

Great experience at there, even though just one day la, LOL, although got a few cuts on my hands because of the books. LOL.

A new year got into a new class also, it's alright, cause there are my BM classmates too. Our new BP class, ain't have that teamwork kind of thing.

Just few weeks have passed, heard classmates gossiped about stuffs, well i'd admit every class would have gossips spreading around sometimes. The chinese girls in BP's class aren't that bad, all have a cheerful kind of attitude :).

Still same class with Anita, although her last year class made up some imaginary friend of her's (which is me) duno what name =.= , "sally" LOL. Which is quite hilarious, but i didn't fret on it, if it doesn't relate on invading my privacy and other stuffs.

My job scheldue is out too, only today! After Cindy, kept rushing her supervisor to send my scheldue over :).

Same scheldue with Cindy's, tomorrow working at Causeway Point, 12th and 13th working at the IT fair, good chance also to see what other stuff IT fair also selling.

Booking our 2nd chalet also during either August or September, cause only had a short one during the March holidays. It was fun, also have more relaxing and quality time together. :)

Well, did my first try at french macaroons. Though my family tasted and said it was nice, i still believe that i did not did a great job at doing the macaroons although the filling is nice.

French macaroons ain't a simple thing to do, the timing is essentially the key for success if you're doing it. Here are some of the pictures. Well, try doing macaroons next week or so, have to perfect the recipe :)

Well, i'm being posted to CRM(customer relationship management)-0734, same class with few of my classmates, contented with it so well yeah.

Upcomming anniversary needs to be celebrated too, and also well his special day :). For our anniversary would mostly go have steamboat at Suntec City, he keeps telling me he wants to try so am planning to bring him to eat Mala hotpot. Quite excited about eating it with him too!

Next year going to have a tour trip to Taiwan with my husband. Planning for a simple free & easy trip, mainly only travelling in Taipei district. Trip will consist of shopping, sight-seeing, hot springs and hunting for gourmet food! Going for only 4 or 5 days.

This post will be to commemorate my Aunt who just passed on.

Aunt Annie passed on on 22nd Feb, 2 days after her birthday. During her 4 day funeral, I held my tears and kept it, having a duty to make sure we did all we can to have her route to the after-life will be a good one, we started chants. Even though i wasn't part of her family, i was her relative, I loved my aunt, she is a kind-hearted and happy person.

Her illness distraught her for many months, my family and my other relatives was terribly worried about her. But her strong stubborn character, still lives on during her final days of her chapter.

She kept her uneasyness due to her illness and knew that it is too late for her even with the use of treatments. All of it...My mom taught her various dishes, my aunt knew she had to make use of these few weeks to give more love to her family.

As i dedicate this post to her, my tears rolled down my cheek, heart ached terribly and yet can't express what i'm feeling now.

During my family visit, she put $60 hong bao money for my brother and me, I'd felt a hunch from her actions but decided to ignore it, probably due to the fact that we haven't visited her for many years. After she passed on, I'd truely know why, that's why it hurts more, because of the kindness she still gives us.

Pressing onto my feelings at the funneral, I'd suppressed my tears even though it's hard. Chanting prayers for you is the only thing I'd can do for you. My mom, my brother have tears and their eyes and even cried.
My Dad and I suppressed our tears, not because we are strong emotionally but because we have to be strong for all those who are sad and especially for my Uncle Bernard and his kids.

Words for you Aunt Annie, " You are a stubborn Aunt, yet because of this you are kind, don't let us worry about you anymore. We love you."

Actually, I'm fascinated by ancient egypt itself, the mystery that veils its past. I've no explaination but to wonder why I'm so fascinated with it.

If it wasn't that Singapore didn't have the course regarding, "Archaelogy" I would have already taken up on it. I didn't care:-

Firstly, Whether it earns big bucks or not

Is it worth while travelling all around the world

Will i benefit from it

Well, I've considered all this, but didn't really care about all this factors, all these years my fascination has not wavered even though I've taken up "Business Management".

One most fascinating thing that most egyptologist wondered most is about the "Most Beautiful Woman in Egypt", "Nerfertiti".(picture shown below)

Her name signifies "the beautiful one has arrived", her bust situated at Berlin's Museum. Egypt is still fighting rights to have "Nerfertiti's bust" back to their musuem.

Nerfertiti's husband, "Pharaoh Akhenaten" try to force a new religion and destroyed all existing religion during that time, but when his ruling ended, his son, "Pharaoh Tutankhamun" another wise known as the famous "King Tut" re-installed the old religion back.

Many lessons can be learnt from the ancient times, their knowledge and skills does surpass modern age. National Geographic has been a source of knowledge for me to view the ancient history and learn from them.

Bribery, mis-deeds even worse cases are involved in Egypt too. These Kings and Queens led a royalty life, whether they did good for their people or not, the past is for us to learn from them not to repeat them.

Made these egg tarts by my own :) for my hubby for Valentine's, wanted it to be special other than chocolates caused mine and his throats are not well. So made these egg tarts. Will post out the recipe on Valentine's Day night!

Thought of making onigiri? aka. rice balls :)
Recipe as below!

1 lb short-grain rice
8 umeboshi (dried plum) / other stuffings
8 nori (dried seaweed)
salt / but those ready made vinegar

Cook the rice.
Keep it warm, but let it cool enough so that it won't burn your hands.
Cut each nori sheet into 9 strips.
Wet your hands and sprinkle them with salt to prevent the rice from sticking to them.
Mold a handful of rice into a triangular shape with an indentation in the middle.
Press a piece of umeboshi into the indentation you left.
Wrap the rice and umeboshi in Nori strips.
Serve immediately or save for later.

Another recipe is Chawanmushi! tried it for myself really very nice.

For the custard:

4 eggs
2 1/2 cups dashi* or chicken stock
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. mirin (sweet Japanese rice cooking wine)*dashi is a Japanese fish stock made from dried, shaved bonito flakes. It is easiest just to use powdered dashi which is often labelled as "Dashino-moto" or "Bonito-flavored soup stock". Each packet makes a LOT of dashi, so I usually heat up as much water as I want and then add dashi powder to taste -- just so it tastes like a decent stock (for me the level of saltiness is the key).

Chicken stock also makes an excellent alternative.

Other ingredients are pretty much whatever you like. I often use whole peeled shrimp and/or scallops sprinkled with sake, bite-sized cubes of chicken sprinkled with soy sauce, mushrooms (enoki are common, but dobin, or shitake cooked in dashi with soy sauce and mirin are good too), ginko nut, and thin strips of spinach for decorating on top (in the summer you sometimes see a bit of lemon rind on top as well).

Procedure:

1. Add all the custard ingredients EXCEPT the eggs to the dashi. Heat until dissolved.

2. Break the eggs into a large bowl. Mix them well.

3. Pour the warm (not hot) dashi into the eggs and mix. Strain through a sieve.

4. Line up four chawan. Chawan are small cups with ceramic lids. If you don't have chawan, you can use ordinary coffee mugs. Distribute the other ingredients in the bottoms of the four cups -- a couple of pieces of chicken a shrimp a scallop, etc.

Don't try to fill the cup, just some nice surprises in the bottom. Pour the egg mixture into each cup, leaving about a quarter inch at the top. Criss-cross a couple of thin strips of spinach on top of the egg mixture then cover each cup with a piece of foil.

5. In a wide pot big enough to hold all the cups, boil about 1"-2" of water, about 1/2 the height of the cups.

6. When the water boils, place the cups in, lower the heat to medium low. Cover the pot and steam until the custard has set (i.e. a bamboo skewer will come out clean.

7. Optionally, at this point you could cut lemon rind into needle thin slivers and place them on top of the custard, though I usually don't.

He's going to bring me to celebrate my birthday, calling me to decide where to eat. Thinking of eating at Ju Jun Shin Korean bbq restaurant, Sushi tei or Washiro.

On the hand, he likes to eat korean stuff and was lamenting on bringing him to try the food at there. He still wants to give me surprises and i hope he don't spend too much.

I've tried before the Korean BBQ restuarant, quite nice, authentic but the bad side to it is it is pricey. Went with my family, was quite an experience because my mom, my dad and me haven't tried before korean food, so bro thought it was a good idea to bring us and have a taste of the food.

4 of us ate to about $200, quite pricey right?

Well, many small dishes was being served, and we had around 15 small dishes on the table and other bbq dishes. Nice cosy restaurant, and really nice food.

argh. nearly was late for my Macro paper. Initially, i panicked like hell, but glad i made it cause the teacher was kind enough to wait for the latecomers.

Going to make Chocolate's pudding this week =), will review and take pictures once done.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups water
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Pinch salt

DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa and flour. Add water and milk; stir until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.

Cook until thick, about 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and salt. Cool to room temperature, stirring several times. Pour into a serving bowl or individual dishes. Serve warm

or chill.

Completed baking this potato for about 90mins.It's long, it's crazy but well i don't have a bbq pit lols, but it still tastes great like those grilled potatoes. Have added cheese and mayo but forgotten ham, just remembered that i have to try this recipe out.
I know i've added alot of cheese LOLS, but i like them with mayo. The taste is great!!right out from the oven. You can see the skin of the potato is weird, it's because of the salt i rubbed on the skin before i've put it into the oven so it seems kind of weird but not to worry, what matters is the inside of the potato am i right??=)LOLS.

My whole family and myself arrived at Conrad Hotel, to eat our buffet at Capers hehs :). When we arrived at its doorstep the food isn't ready yet so we sat outside on the rustic chairs, the scenery is exceptionally lovely. Chocolate chip pancakes, sometimes i do them on the weekends for myself and my brother. Basically i think chocolate chip pancakes are more delicious than maple syrup ones, cause it's chocolatey? But! it's really tasty, just do your ordinary pancakes and add tons of chocolate chips in it. Well, here's you recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspns of vanilla extract
2 teaspns of baking powder
and tons of chocolate chips!!!

Directions
In a big bowl, stir in your flour and baking powder, until it is mixed properly. After that, pour in your vanilla extract, and mix it well. Then goes your chocolate chips.

Variation
If you want to subsitute with maple syrup thats fine, just follow the steps above for your plain pancake without the chocolate chip. Maple syrup can be bought in supermarkets, but it is best if you would heat them up a little before glazing your pancake

Going to make baked potatoes tomorrow, looked over couple of websites and found a recipe that i like, so...i'm going to share it with you guys. Basically, it's only a few easy steps but it takes about an hour to bake the potato. After i've tried it tomorrow, i'll review the recipe.

INGREDIENTS
1 medium baking potato
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons butter
1 pinch freshly ground black pepper (optional)
1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven is A MUST to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Scrub the potato, and pierce the skin several times with a knife or fork.

Rub the skin with olive oil, then with salt.
Place the potato in the preheated oven, and bake for 90 minutes, or until slightly soft and golden brown. Slice the potato down the center, and serve with butter and black pepper.

You can also spread your other toppings such as mayo or tartar sauce. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over the top, if desired.

KamiKaze Kaitou Jeanne very cute picture of the 2 couple. hehs. This anime is superb nice! The drawing is quite similar to Full moon sagashite, not sure if it is the same author, but the storyline is fantastic. She transforms into Joan Of Arc and steals art works in season 1 to defeat demons.

In Season 1, you will see the appearance of Sinbad, he tries to steal art works from Jeanne. This anime is somewhat like D.N.Angel, that involves kaitous stealing art works in season 1, but in Season 2 the storyline changes abit, but still exciting to watch. If i remembered correctly it has around
46 episodes? *squeals* long live animes!!!

Shadowskill, one of my favourites!! Well, basically its all about fighting and comedy here and there. The main point in this anime is that if you're not into fighting animes DON'T watch this anime, cause you may not like the major fighting scenes in here. I also found the opening theme song very meaningful :). Basically Ella Ragu took Gau in as her little brother, she is the 59th Sevalle of the Kuroda Shadow Skills, a martial artist of great power. I'd better don't be a spoiler. hehs =)

My lovable friend is going to help me get both of these!! Lols, lemming for my hair products already!! Currently using soft shot, love it :) . Love the all soft range, and also the smell=x. Thinking about buying other ranges, but not sure if it is worth it. I heard the smooth down range is better for rebonded hair, heard many raves about smooth down ranges. Especially, the leave-in conditioner for smooth range heard many raves for it.

Guys!! ALERT to all readers, sunscreen is a must for all people, well for those that wants to protect their skin. It's said that the UV rays from the sun can lead to sunburn and other skin damage, ultimately leading to a lower risk of skin cancer. More serious is long term in contact with the sun, may cause your skin to age faster than those who apply sunblock. If you don't want your skin to age faster than others, better get a good sunblock =). What i use currently is Mentholatum acnes spf50++.

Ladies who wish to lose weight, drink green tea. i've tried it myself and found i've lost few kgs during 1week and also it aids digestion pretty well. Due to the fast rate at which calories are being burned, it eventually helps in weight loss. Argh, browsing through Topshop webbie, and i saw this pretty blue dress. =.= i'm going crazy!! now i'm into ruffles and frills dresses and shirts. Saiunkoku Monogatari, i recommend this anime strongly. This has been out from Japan just recently. Youtube only showcase RAWs of the anime, while subbed version may wait longer. Season 2 also is coming out! This anime that has been aired in Japan recently, has been very popular. Well, lots of bishies and also pretty graphics. Most applauding about this anime is how the authour narrates the film. As it is a recently out anime, you guys check it out for yourself *winks*. I assure you, just one episode may get you addicted all the way. hehs..

Went out with my friend today, to get last minute buys on my erm..clothes?LOLS. Well, basically thats it, got this pair of shorts that we both like, but she complained that the width of the shorts looks big for her! Well, her legs is slimmer than mine. this shorts cost only $33? very pretty piece..blahs..

Bought a piece of very casual shirt. Well, my wardrobe don't have much shirts?lols?so got another piece yesterday. All the other nice stuffs we saw was either no stock, or no size. Basically, both of us were going crazy!

But after hours of shopping, we landed in Jack's Place, to get some fuel running before we head home. Steak with chicken and baked potato!!yums..well, my friend intro to me which was nice and all sorts. My meal costs about $21.60 with additional of ice lemon tea, garlic bread was also given at the start of the meal.=.=..made me awesome full in the end.

Made fried udon accompanied with teriyaki sauce, chicken and fishballs. Udon can be found in leading supermarket stores, and you just boil the udon and the fishballs in the water until you find it is soft and have loosen up and the fishballs have floated. Pour out the water and add in the terayaki sauce and chicken with udon and fishballs, fry it around until you spot that the chicken is ready. Then all set! the chicken teriyaki udon is being made..TADA!!..=)..lols

Ate bbq stingray at my old home area, Ang Mo Kio, just opposite blk 610, this stingray is fabulous the chili is bbq to its cripsy state and surely is tasty. Even though Serangoon ChompChomp, also has an array of bbq dishes, but rather eat this plate of bbq stingray *dances*. The vegetarian dishes also is good, even its claypot horfun, my favourite too, would go there either every week to taste it. Nonetheless, love the food at there!!

Well, as for clothes and other stuff..will help people do preorders..yeayea..that only happens when i've completed my Os..and other stuff ^^. Nonetheless, my life now is hectic and occupied by studying..lols..after exams, promise to help people order clothes and other stuffs, plus...that you stay around my area though..lols. And after my exams have finish, probably will spend my time doing cakes, muffins and all the other stuff..*dances*..kinda excited..=). Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins, past pastries i've done this was the last batch and decided to take photos of it..lols..have tons of leftover walnuts so decided to be more generous and poured it onto each and every cup of muffin. The chocolate chips are hidden in the muffins, in case you're suspecting where the chocolate chips have gone to =x..For my muffins, i prefer them to either have nuts on top as toppings, don't like the feeling of eating plain muffins =)..

My dear classmates, love them, some for 5 years some for 2 years love them even though some of them play pranks and well..ridiculous stuff..but this is how our class works..the opposite way. When others are so enthusiastic, well we're just quiet and "dull"..weird class..=). Our class perhaps is the most distinctive class you'll ever seen, very "guai" students. Sometimes can talk so much even our teachers will be complaining. Anyway, the end is nearing as we proceed to our separate roads, gonna miss them and looking forward to eat steamboat with my dearest friends =o. Good luck for Os, as our chapter for our future slowly unfolds.

Completed this Chocolate fudge cake topped with strawberries and almonds. Done for almost one whole noon plus preparing the frosting the cake base and cutting the decorating items, not to sure am i hardworking or insane. This cake was made with hard work and joy, this cake well was before it was put in the fridge. After, it was taken out, it looked more tidy and well, pretty =x.

Recipe for chocolate cream frosting

6oz bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped

1 and a half cups heavy cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Melt the chocolate with the cream in a double boiler over barely simmering water. Add the vanilla.
Transfer to a medium bowl, and then put in the refridgerator until thick and spreadable, about 3-5 hours (judging on the temperature of your fridge).
